Departure procedures when using runway 20
Pilot's are advised that a trial amendment to procedures when using Runway 20 takes effect from 28th May 2010.
To minimise local noise disturbance when departing from Runway 20 and when safe to do so, upon reaching the Manchester Ship Canal aircraft should commence a right turn onto crosswind to avoid overflying the residential areas of Flixton and Irlam.

City Airport Public Open Day and Aircraft Fly-In - Sunday 12th September
This September, following the success of last year's event, City Airport is hosting another Open Day and Aircraft Fly-In Event on Sunday 12th September 2010. Public visitors are welcome from 10am until 3pm, and the Aircraft Fly-In runs throughout the day. (Free landings for all).
